Fun and fitness through tennis, sailing and rowing

Welcome to the Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club (DRYTC), the home for sailing, tennis and rowing in the Deep River area.

Those interested in these sports are encouraged to join the Club.  For information about this year’s programs and membership, see the Programs and Registration pages. Non-members wishing to use the club’s tennis courts need to purchase a day tag – adults: $10 or juniors: $5.

The DRYTC clubhouse and washroom facilities are open to members and the public from May to October.  The snack bar is open weekday mornings.  A licensed bar is available for club events and rental functions.  For up-to-date information about planned activities, see the Calendar.

Groups and individuals may rent the clubhouse for special events such as weddings. For additional information, see the Rentals page.

TransCanada Pipelines
The Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club was awarded a Community Investment grant by TransCanada Corporation toward the junior sailing instruction program. The funds will be used to purchase a low-emission four-stroke outboard motor to replace an older two-stroke outboard engine on our back-up coach boat. The Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club gratefully acknowledges grants from the Ontario Trillium Foundation for the purchase of a new coach boat and new training dinghies for the junior sailing program.  The new coach boat and dinghies will not only improve the safety of our training programs, but will substantially reduce the burden on our volunteers, allowing them to concentrate on training and improving the club programs for children and youth.
Grants from TransCanada Corporation and the Trillium Foundation, have made it possible for the yacht club coach boats to be converted to modern four-stroke engines. This will substantially reduce emissions to the Ottawa River from yacht club operations.
