To accommodate our growing pickleball membership, DRYTC is expanding our courts for the 2023 season! We will have 8 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts & 2 dual use courts. 2023 programs include programs for new, recreational & competitive players – and new this year - youth classes.
To access our courts, you require a DRYTC Pickleball Membership, or register for the ‘Introduction to Pickleball’ in May. Day use passes are also available.
Join our DRYTC Spond Communication Hub to connect with pickleball members, schedule games and keep up with Pickleball activities & news! Spond is a fantastic (and free) app for sports clubs
& can be accessed from a smart phone or a desktop.

Adult Learn to Play
Open play is a hallmark of pickleball... open play will be available on all courts, 7 days a week, 7am - 1 pm!
Some days will be all club, and other days will have courts designated for 'all play', 'recreational play' & 'competitive play' - check out the new pickleball court calendar for details!
Court booking is now available. Bookings can be made 7 days in advance.

The following programs will get our season off to a great start and are scheduled to start after the courts have been repaired / painted. Keep an eye out for new programs as the season unfolds.
Drills & Skills
Drills & Skills sessions will be offered throughout the summer, starting after the courts have been repainted. A different focus every week with games designed to apply the skills we focus on. Starts June 5th. All levels welcome. Sign up on the calendar. Included with membership.
Monday evenings 5:30-7:30, courts 1-8, all players of varying skill levels are welcome for fun evening of pickleball round robins. Emphasizing the “fun” aspects of the game, teams are re-arranged after every match. Starts June 5th. Sign up each week on court calendar. Capped at 32 players.
A ladder league is a system for ranking a group of players based on matches played. It is also a great way to meet new players and have a lot of fun. In a pickleball ladder, players are arranged like rungs of a ladder, and earn points to get to the top. Games are scheduled between players at agreed upon times.
DRYTC Pickleball Leagues
Tuesday evenings, 6:00-8:00, courts 1-4 recreational, courts 5-8 intermediate & advanced, house leagues. Play in pre-arranged teams. Starts June 5th. Weekly calendar sign up.
Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:00,, courts 1-4 Men, court 5-8 Women, all
player singles round robin. Players are seeded according to their skill levels. Starts June 5th. Weekly calendar sign up, max 24 players each
Thursday evenings, 6:00-8:00,, competitive / advanced doubles round robins, courts 1-8. Starts with random teams re-arranged based on the king-of-hill format. Matches are 10 games long. Starts June 5th. Weekly sign up on the calendar.
Season end team competitions & club singles / doubles / mixed doubles championships. Dates & details to follow!

Pickleball is a craze that's quickly sweeping the nation. It's not only a great way to be active and get outdoors - it's easy to learn and play, and builds athletic confidence.

Consider registering for both junior pickleball & junior tennis - double the learning & double the fun!
Jumpstart funding is available for junior lessons.
Go to jumpstart.canadiantire.ca to check your eligibility and to apply.
Alternatively, in case of need, a bursary program is available to assist with lesson fees. Contact the registrar for information about the Don Clements Bursary.
How do I become a member?
Joining the club is done online via our registration page. DRYTC offers several types of memberships including Adult, Family (two adults and two kids), Student, etc. To join the Club, please follow the link in the menu or on the Membership page.
Are you running junior programs in 2023?
Yes, in 2023 we are running junior programs in sailing, tennis and pickleball! Youth do not need to be a member to register for summer programs.
Can I pay my registration by cheque?
If it is not possible to pay your registration by credit card, please send an email too firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements to provide a check as payments
